Characteristics

TEXTURIZZA FLEX is a flexible, two-component coating (A+B). Its flexibility allows the texture to follow eventual movements of the surface, preventing, eliminating and impeding the progression of microcracks and fissures. TEXTURIZZA FLEX also waterproofs the surface and protects against moisture. It has medium granulometry. Provides variable rustic decorative effect depending on the application technique used.

Use

TEXTURIZZA FLEX is indicated for application on painted or unpainted masonry surfaces, concrete, on degraded textures, cement boards, drywall, plaster, for the purpose of treating cracks and waterproofing, leaving the surface renewed and textured.

Composition

Component A: liquid, white, acrylic resin basic composition.

Component B: powder, cement compound, mineral aggregates and additives.

Color

TEXTURIZZA FLEX is supplied in white.

Performance

TEXTURIZZA FLEX has an approximate yield of 1.2 kg /m² in two coats.

Storage

It must be kept at room temperature, in a dry and ventilated place, on pallets.

Shelf life

In its original undamaged packaging, it is valid for 24 months.

Packaging

Plastic buckets of 3.6 and 18 kg with the total weight of components A+B.

Surface preparation

Sand the surface and remove all loose particles. It must be firm and in good condition, free of moisture, dust, grease, mold, mildew or any other material or contamination that could prevent the product from adhering normally. Imperfections must be previously corrected with MASSA NIVELADORA. If you have problems with rising damp or with the possibility of future dampness, you must first waterproof with SELAMIX products. On painted surfaces, deep sanding must be done, removing the paint layer, allowing the product to anchor in the cementitious base. If the wall has cracks greater than 2 mm, cracks and expansion joints, it must be previously recovered with ELIMINETRINCA before starting to apply TEXTURIZZA FLEX. After the ELIMINETRINCA has cured, start applying TEXTURIZZA FLEX.

Product preparation

Homogenize component A (liquid). Add component B (powder) to component A (liquid). Mix with a mechanical stirrer for 3 minutes, until a pasty, lump-free mass is obtained. For application in large areas, prepare only the amount of product that can be used for a period of 30 minutes. Mix the mass again every 10 minutes during application. If necessary, it can be diluted with up to 10% water.

Application

TEXTURIZZA FLEX must be applied with a paint roller. Apply at least 2 coats or until you get the desired result. For a smooth finish, apply with a paint roller and straighten afterwards. We recommend applying the product at room and surface temperatures between 10º and 30ºC. Do not apply the product in direct sunlight or when the surface is hot or humid. The interval between coats is 24 hours with good weather and a temperature of 25ºC (drying time may vary according to weather conditions). In environments with little ventilation, the drying time can be prolonged, in this case, wait for complete drying to apply the next coat.

Painting

Wait for a minimum of 15 days to dry. TEXTURIZZA FLEX must be painted with acrylic paint following the paint manufacturer’s instructions.

NOTE: Can be pigmented with Xadrez powder dye in pastel colors. With the addition of dye to the dough, there may be uneven color fading over time. It is also subject to staining if the dilution of the material is not carried out uniformly throughout the application.

Cleaning

Equipment and tools can be cleaned with water while the product is not dry. After drying, clean the tools mechanically.
