GRAFIMIX
Characteristics
GRAFIMIX was developed for application on masonry surfaces to obtain a rustic and artistic finish. Allows finishing with aging Gel, in matte, metallic, in natura colors, or water-based paints, according to the creativity of the applicator. Odourless, non-toxic product, with excellent adherence, resistant to alkalinity, giving it excellent durability, not requiring the application of wall primers. Just wet the wall with water. It has a rheology to stay open longer, allowing a longer time to finish the arts. Due to its composition, it allows the consumer the option of painting or not at the desired time.

Performance
On plaster, the yield is 2 to 3 kg per m², which may vary according to the porosity of the place to be applied and type of application.
Storage
It must be kept at room temperature, in a dry and airy place, on pallets, so that changes in its initial characteristics do not occur.
Shelf life
In its original undamaged packaging, it is valid for 24 months.

Package with 5 kg and 18 kg.
Surface preparation
The surface must be in good condition, clean, free of moisture, dust, grease, fungus, loose paint, mold, mildew, loose particles or any other contamination that could prevent the normal adhesion of the product. If there is a problem with rising damp, the surface must first be waterproofed with SELAMIX products, as moisture can damage the paint on the GRAFIMIX. On painted surfaces, deep sanding must be done, removing the paint layer, allowing the product to anchor on the cementitious base.
Product preparation
Calculate the required amount. Dilute the product with approximately 23% of water, mixing with a mechanical stirrer for 5 minutes, until obtaining a pasty mass without lumps, ideal for application. Once prepared, the product should be applied within a maximum of 1 hour.
For every 5kg of Grafimix add 1.15 liters of water.
For every 18kg of Grafimix add 4.14 liters of water.
Application
On virgin walls wet evenly with water, and on walls that already contain paintings, sand and moisten.
To apply GRAFIMIX, remove the paste from the bucket with a spatula and distribute it over the steel trowel. Apply in an elongated way from bottom to top pressing the trowel so that the stone regulates the thickness of the dough. Go over the trowel several times, removing the excess, evening out the area to be scratched. The ideal thickness is when the stone rolls 2 to 3 cm when applying with a steel trowel. Wait for a slight drying to start the scratching processes. To scratch, use an appropriate plastic trowel going over it several times in the same direction or as the job requires, to give a final finish. Use your creativity. We recommend applying on surfaces of approximately 2 m², finalizing the desired effect before proceeding with application.
The application must be carried out with temperatures between 10 to 30°C and good weather. Do not apply in strong sunlight.
Painting
Wait for a minimum of 15 days to dry before finishing with paint, in matte, metallic, in natura or water-based paints, following the paint manufacturer’s instructions.
