Product preparation

Eliminetrinca comes ready to use. Eliminetrinca must not be mixed with any type of product, whether powder or liquid.

Application

Cracks and fissures: Open with a scraper or chisel the fissures and cracks in a “V” shape, widening and deepening it. Remove all loose particles and dust. Apply Eliminetrinca with a brush on the sides and base and then fill in with the spatula until it is level with the surface. Wait 24 hours and if the product shrinks, apply Eliminetrinca again, leveling it with the surface. Wait for 15 days to dry and then apply decorative mortar or paint.

Cracks: Open the cracks with a scraper or chisel in a “V” shape, widening and deepening it. Remove all loose particles and dust. Apply Eliminetrinca with a brush on the sides and base and then fill with a spatula until it is level with the surface. Wait 24 hours and if the product shrinks, apply Eliminetrinca again, leveling it with the surface. Then apply a coat of Eliminetrinca to the surface 5 to 6 cm wide on either side of the center of the crack. Place a polyester screen and apply Eliminetrinca again on the screen, leveling it with the surface, leaving a minimum thickness of 3mm in both coats. In the plaster, if necessary, make a lowering, so that the application stays inside the plaster, allowing the leveling to be perfect. After 15 days from the last application, you can start applying decorative mortar or painting, as long as it is compatible with the characteristics of Eliminetrinca.

Expansion joints: The width of the joint must comply with the standards defined by ABNT. Apply Eliminetrinca with a brush on the sides and base and then fill in with the spatula until it is level with the surface. Wait 24 hours and if the product shrinks, apply Eliminetrinca again, leveling it with the surface. Wait 15 days to start applying any coating, when horizontal.

Floors: On floors, check that it is firm and make expansion joints, every 20m², throughout the area, with 1 cm wide cuts, throughout the thickness of the floor, which should be filled with Eliminetrinca. Apply Eliminetrinca with a brush on the sides and base and then fill in with the spatula until it is level with the surface. Wait 24 hours and if the product shrinks, apply Eliminetrinca again, leveling it with the surface. Then apply a coat of Eliminetrinca on the surface 10 to 12 cm wide on each side of the center of the joint. Place a polyester screen and apply Eliminetrinca again on the screen, leveling it with the surface, leaving a minimum thickness of 3mm in both coats. Wait 15 days.

Tiles: Eliminetrinca can be used on asbestos-cement, aluminum, zinc and PVC tiles and gutters. Apply Eliminetrinca with a brush on the sides and base and then fill in with the spatula until it is level with the surface. Then apply a coat of Eliminetrinca on the surface of the tile 5 cm wide on each side of the center of the crack. Place a polyester screen and apply Eliminetrinca again over the screen, leveling it with the surface, leaving a minimum thickness of 3mm in both coats. In fiber cement tiles to block the crack evolution, make a hole of 8 to 10mm, 5 cm after the ends of the crack.

Care

During application and the curing process, Eliminetrinca must not come into contact with water. Once cured, Eliminetrinca cannot be submerged, therefore, on horizontal surfaces, it must have at least 1% inclination, for water drainage. The layers of Eliminetrinca, applied to the surface with a polyester screen, must be at least 3 mm thick in both coats. Any type of dust, dirt and oil inhibits Eliminetrinca from adhering to the surface.
