SANFLEX SILOS E TELHADOS is a flexible waterproofing product with excellent adherence and its main characteristics are:
Thermal Insulator: Reduces the internal temperature of environments by up to 35%.
Acoustic Insulator: After application, SANFLEX SILOS AND ROOFS forms a rubberized layer that reduces the noise caused by rain and hail.
Waterproofing: Applied to walls and roofs, it waterproofs and seals small cracks and holes of up to 3 mm, preventing the entry of water and humidity.
Painting: available in white and light gray, not requiring painting after application, leaving the surface protected and looking like new.
Elasticity: It has an excellent memory for contraction and retraction, following the dilation movements of the surface caused by climatic interference.
Resistance: Developed to be resistant to the natural effects caused by sun, rain and sea air.
Antioxidant: Allows application on rust converter, inhibiting the continuation of the corrosive process and the appearance of new rust spots.

Use
It is indicated for application in new or old silos and roofs in residential, industrial or rural areas, as well as in external walls of agricultural silos and grain and perishable storage sheds. It can be applied on metal roofs, fiber cement, fiber, ceramic tiles, etc.

Performance
The consumption of SANFLEX SILOS AND ROOFS in 4 coats must be greater than 1 kg per m² with a minimum thickness of 0.5 mm after curing. Consumption may vary depending on the porosity of the surface.
Storage
It must be kept at room temperature, in a dry and airy place, on pallets, so that changes in its initial characteristics do not occur.
Shelf life
In its original undamaged packaging, it is valid for 24 months.

SANFLEX SILOS E THEADOS is supplied in 3.6 kg and 18 kg plastic buckets.
Surface preparation
The performance of SANFLEX SILOS E TELHADOS is associated with the degree of surface preparation. Clean the area to be coated with a jet of water and degreasing detergent, then rinse with water to remove residues of the cleaning chemical. The surface must be cohesive, free of dust, scale, oil, grease, loose particles and other dirt that could prevent the normal adherence of the product. Horizontal surfaces must have a minimum slope of 1% for water drainage. Carry out the necessary repairs on the surface to be applied, such as holes, screw seals, and others. Surfaces that show rust, treat the area with a rust converter. Wait for the surface to dry completely before starting the application. Drying is very important for the correct fixation of the product, in addition to avoiding the formation of bubbles resulting from the evaporation of the water that was present in the base.
Correction of cracks and cracks: In screws, fastening clips, tile splices, larger holes and cracks, seal using ELIMINETRINCA. Apply a coat of ELIMINETRINCA on the surface of the tile 5 cm wide on each side of the center of the crack. Place a polyester screen and apply ELIMINETRINCA over the screen again. In fiber cement tiles to block the crack evolution, make a hole of 8 to 10 mm, 5 cm after the ends of the crack.
Product preparation
SANFLEX SILOS E TELHADOS comes ready to use, just mix with a mechanical stirrer to homogenize the product.
Application
The application can be done with airless painting equipment or anti-drip paint roller. Apply the 1st coat and wait for it to dry. Apply the following coats in a crosswise direction, in order to guarantee the complete coating of the surface. The consumption of SANFLEX SILOS E TELHADOS in 4 coats must be at least 1 kg per m , with a minimum thickness of 20.5 mm after curing. Yield may vary depending on the porosity of the surface. The minimum interval for each application is 6 hours in good weather and at a temperature of 25ºC (drying time may vary according to weather conditions). In environments with low temperature or poor ventilation, the drying time may be prolonged, in this case wait for complete drying to apply the next coat. Never cover the application with canvas or prevent ventilation in the application during the curing time. Apply preferably in the morning to ensure adequate drying. During this period drying is more efficient, as it remains longer exposed to the sun. Avoid applying in the late afternoon. After applying the last coat, final drying takes place in 72 hours, in good weather conditions and a temperature of 25ºC.
