Characteristics

MAXIMUS was developed for waterproofing concrete and mortar through the water repellent process, blocking the capillaries and preventing the passage of moisture.

Use

It is indicated for waterproofing slabs, renders, floors, baseboard repairs, swimming pools, retaining walls, fine mortars, subfloors or any mortar that you want to waterproof.

Composition

Mineral fillers and special additives.

Color

Gray.

Performance

Storage

The product must be kept at room temperature, in a dry and airy place, on a platform, thus avoiding alterations in its initial characteristics.

Shelf life

In its original packaging, not violated, it is valid for 24 months.

Packaging

The product is marketed in plastic packages of 4kg and 12kg and in plastic buckets of 4kg and 12kg.

Product preparation

Prepare the mix in a concrete mixer first adding water (90% of the total required). Add MAXIMUS together with the water. Then put the cement and the aggregates and mix for 5 minutes and add water until the desired point is reached.

Application

Apply the mass prepared normally according to the traditional way of use.

Comments

The use of clean sand and adequate granulometry are important to guarantee the impermeability of the mass.
Do not add another type of waterproofing additive to mortar or concrete.
In renders, MAXIMUS can be used in conjunction with RENDER ADDITIVE R-321.
Coatings prepared with MAXIMUS must not be exposed to water pressure before curing.
Any dosage different from that indicated or different trait from the table above, it is necessary to carry out preliminary tests under the same conditions of the work to determine the desired result and ideal dosage of the additive, as well as its compatibility with the cement and aggregates to be used. Coatings prepared with MAXIMUS must not be exposed to water pressure before curing.
